Gareth Owens
As it turns out there are a few of my stories out there to be had for free.
"Follow that Cathedral" as done by those wonderful people over at Escapepod.
The story first appeared in The Immersion Book of SteamPunk, so once you've grabbed it, if you find your whistle is whetted for some more fiction held together by brass rivets and indomitable spirit, head over to Amazon and encourage one of our smaller publishers.
Nature. (You know...That Nature).
When I first told some of my mates I had sold a story to Nature they thought I'd taken to writing about cows and hedgehogs and stuff.
Here's a nice little collection all in one place, each D.O.I leads to one of my stories.

The cover art for Steampunk and Fun with Rainbows were both created by Charles Harbour, His art for Fun with Rainbows going on to be a finalist for the BSFA awards and the cover art for Immersion book of Steampunk being included in the prestigious Spectrum 19

"A deluxe assortment of surprises – amusing, mystical, or so nasty they’ll keep you awake at night”

“The short-short is the most difficult kind of story to write. Owens makes it look easy”
