Gareth Owens
Gareth Owens is the author of Fun with Rainbows, the first collection of short stories from Immersion Press.
I'm about to embark on the twenty-first century adventure of self-publishing. I write a fair amount, and I have novel I'm fond of, so I'm going to produce it myself.
For the first time since Gutenberg, the means of distribution has been placed in the hands of the writers, that's what I'm being told in every blog post and tweet from a whole net-full of aspiring authors.
It don't look so easy from where I'm sitting, but this little page is intended to make a note of the ups and downs of the process. I've already had loads of advice, and when I try something, or when I ignore something, I'm just going to make a note of how it works out.
